I have questions about townes very important

He was such a trip. Goofball and national treasure. His songs played with repetition, rhymes, consonance (often in the middle of lines, not just the ends) that are in the same orbit as, Dr. Seuss, Gertrude Stein, and Gerard Manly Hopkins. I don't know if he actually read the poetry of the latter two, but he's a kindred spirit nevertheless.

Roger Miller is the only artist inducted into the King Of The Road Hall Of Fame...

I found a Townes album in a $.99 bin in Lancaster, California. To say is changed me fails in degrees. As my years, my demons, my wins and losses find their way into my music owes too much to measure to the man.

I recently started writing songs. I wrote one about Waylon’s guitars called “A Waylon guitar and a Willie Tattoo”. He may have never gotten the credit he deserved for his songwriting, but it’s definitely remembered.

His lyrics implied more than they said. There was a detachment about him, too. He was an entertainer, but a great songwriter.

He was a great person and a joy to watch and hear. Glad Willy and the gang love him, too
